Norman Craig is an honor graduate of Temple University with a BS in Secondary Education/Business Administration and a Master’s in Management & Leadership from Webster University. After receiving his degree, he began his career with the iconic Marion Laboratories, Inc. in Kansas City founded by the legendary Ewing Kauffman. He took on the role of a pharmaceutical representative and earned the Sales Representative of the Year honors. He was Director of the Northwestern Sales Division, Director of Human Resources for Marion Merrell Dow North America, Director of Management and Technical Training, and Senior Director of Administrative Services for Hoechst Marion Roussel.
After a 20-year career in pharmaceuticals, Norman became the VP Managing Director of the IT consulting organization Cap Gemini/Sogeti which later became Cap Gemini Ernst & Young. He also founded the New York-based IT consulting firm Genesis 10 in Kansas City. In 2004 Norman joined New York Life as an agent and became a Partner in the Greater KC Business Unit in 2006. Norman was awarded "Agent of the Year" honors in 2005, 2013, and 2014 and a Top 25 Partner out of over 600 in 2007 and 2008.
Did we mention he also managed his own successful Investment firm, Craig Financial Solutions? Norman has earned the LUTCF certification (Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow) and Project Management Certification. Norman taught graduate school for 27 years in Webster University’s Master’s program and has previously held public office in Overland Park, KS. He is a former longtime member of the Overland Park Rotary Club. In fact, he is a two-time recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow Award. Norman has worked on consultative assignments with MetLife Premier Client Group, Allstate Financial Services, and Axa Advisors.
